The key Business Analysis functions in defining and managing requirements are:

• Ensuring alignment with product ownership in communication of consistent message to the team.
• Being an essential part of the scrum team.
• Answering questions and make associated decisions.
• Preparing detailed stories.
• Liaising with UX (if needed) in order to get stories ready for development.
• Initial signing-off of user stories.
• Working closely with the team to agree priorities in backlog.
• Adopting and driving best practices.
